I'm fine with an 'option to disable native OS Tabs in macOS Sierra' if people want that, but I see no reason to be forced to choose between one or the other, for me they work great together.

I love having multiple windows open in macOS tabs, each with multiple files open in Sublime Text tabs. I absolutely don't want to completely disable the built-in Sublime Text tabs! I'm happy with the way it is now, though it would be nice to have the Window menu items. But it doesn't have the menu items under Window to properly support eg. I meant it's somewhere in between, in that it does allow macOS tabs to be opened - unlike Firefox for example.

Did you find some way to switch between macOS project tabs with the keyboard? Like sebbean, I can't figure out how to do that. These are normally added automatically by macOS, even in very old applications, so maybe ST did something to disable them? Without those menu items, there doesn't seem to be any way to switch between the native tabs using keyboard, you said 'I use fullscreen mode with quick switching. It's missing the menu items in the Window menu for 'Show Previous Tab, Show Next Tab, Move Tab to New Window, and Merge All Windows'. One of the crucial bugs in Sublime text is that you can't disable the built-in tabs system, meaning, that in some cases text files will open with the built-in tabs instead of the MacOS native tabs, and be completely hidden from the native tabs! Right now I'm forced to actually disable native and built-in tabs, and have all files open in a new window, because both tabs systems for Sublime Text are currently broken for MacOS. If Sublime Text supported MacOS native tabs this would only be a 1 step action. This is a nightmare to do each time if you handle a lot of text files, because you have to do this 10 step action each time you open a new text file. I always have to open the file twice(i.e click the file four times), so Mission Control will switch to the Desktop with the open window, and to move it to my preferred Desktop, I have to drag the tab out of the window to make it into a new window, and finally drag the new window to the Desktop I was previously in using Mission Control. Nothing in the screen actually happens when I open the file. This is really confusing, because there are no indications that the file has opened in another Desktop. And when I open a new text document in another Mission Control Desktop, while keeping the documents open in the previous Desktop, it will open the file in a new window in the current Desktop, which is the preferred way.Д«ut if I disable the forcing of native tabs and use the built-in tabs system of Sublime Text and open a new text document in an empty Desktop, it will open the file in a new tab of the open window, even if the window is in another Desktop. For instance, if the MacOS native tabs is set to 'Always' and I already have a text file window open in the same Mission Control Desktop, it will open in a new tab in the same window when I open a new file. I prefer the MacOS native tabs because it allows for more fluid multitasking. Then all the problems we all have would go away. I wish Sublime Text would fully support MacOS native tabs, and have a switch to prefer native or built-in tabs.
